We ordered a calamari entree, spicy chicken pizza and a seafood pasta. All meals were reasonable portions It is not a wow Italian restaurant, but it is good for a bite.

We are regulars to this outfit inside Crown Casino. On Wednesday, we went in for dinner. A waiter guided us in, took us to the back of the restaurant.

We asked to have a seat by the wall, but he walked away. After we were We ordered a chicken pizza and risoto. We don't eat pork or beef, so my guest asked the waitress whether the chicken in the risoto would be wrapped in beef or pork.

She said no - it wouldn't be. We asked the waitress who confirmed that this was pork, which my guest had now eaten.

We asked the waitress that we had checked and she said there was no pork. She said that we didn't specifically ask about this, which was incorrect.

Asked to speak to a manager. In the meantime, a group of three guests were seated behind us, in the no seating zone, where we had requested to be seated.

A lady purporting to be the manager arrived, after explaining the story, she was defensive. We noted that she wasn't the manager and so asked for the manager.

Take 3 - Another staff member arrived explaining that he was the highest ranking staff. Again, apart from apologising he couldn't do anything. Overall extremely poor, racist, inconsiderate service.

We are regulars here and during the weekend, the service is good, however weeknights are a different story. Be careful, they have no considering for allergies or restrictions.

We had the fettuccine with truffle, pancetta. Service was prompt, fast and friendly with a packed restaurant. Friends from Benalla were in Melbourne so we suggested Emporio for our Sunday afternoon meeting.

Thank heavens the gambling area was not shouting out luckynumbers! We found the level of noise quite acceptable and were able to converse easily.

We started our meals by sharing Very nice thin crust and a great way to begin a meal. It was great to find the specials for a low-priced lunch applied on weekends.

The fish was beautifully cooked: not at all dry. They said the meat was tender and the chips good. All meals came with a glass of house wine.
